About:
Åge Peterson is an illustrator based in Bergen, Norway, with a prolific output within editorial illustration and works where illustration plays a vital part of an identity. He likes to play visually, often with a graphically strict visual language in his search to make the complex, tangible and accessible. He has a master’s degree in visual communication from Bergen Academy of Art and Design, and worked several years as a graphic designer before becoming a full-time freelance illustrator in 2017. Åge has also done several assignments as a guest teacher within both design, illustration and visual narrative, and exam censoring both on BA and MA level. Outside of deadlines he likes to work on comics. He has won several awards for his illustration work.
