About:
Makerie Studio was founded by Julie Wilkinson and Joyanne Horscroft in 2010, after the pair met while studying Graphic Design in the UK and realised they had a shared passion for paper engineering. Since then they have opened studios in Milan, London, and New York, where they design and build showpieces for ad campaigns, window displays, fashion and editorials. Using specialised papers and intricate detailing, Makerie Studio have designed award-winning sculptures and images for clients around the globe. Julie moved to Norway after 5 years in New York, and is now based in Oslo.
