About:
Zarina Saidova (b. 1992) is a Kazakhstan-born artist, illustrator, and comics creator based in Oslo, Norway. Working across comics, artist books, publishing, and exhibition-making, her practice investigates visual storytelling through playful, poetic, and symbolic imagery. She holds a Master’s degree from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and is co-founder of the independent publishing house Træsh. Her work has been exhibited at MuseumsQuartier Wien, KØSK and Kunsthall Oslo, and has received awards and recognition from The One Show, Gullblyanten, Visuelt, and Most Beautiful Illustrated Books in Norway.
