We are really excited to have been a part of the design exhibition 100% Norway 2015 in London. According to Wallpaper, ”Now in its twelfth year, 100% Norway is boasting its strongest line-up to date, with 33 of the country’s finest designers presenting their products and prototypes at the Old Truman Brewery».
This year’s exhibition was a collaboration between The Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture (DogA), the Royal Norwegian Embassy in London and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with Norwegian Icons. All 100% Norwegian.
The talented designer/illustrator Robin Snasen Rengård developed this years visual concept for the entire 100% Norway exhibition, including catalog, posters, banners, invitations, exhibition walls etc.
Robin created different landscapes and typographic shapes inspired by Norwegian nature and mid-century graphic artists like Gunnar S. Gundersen. The illustrations combine the basic architectural shapes (circle, square, triangle) and turn them into fluid landscapes.
100% Norway is traditionally associated with product design, but showcased illustration for the very first time, including a piece from each one of the 11 byHands illustrators! How cool is that?!
A huge thanks to the curators from Doga and Norwegian Icons for including us in the project, it was great!!
