On November 13th Altinn, Norway’s portal for digital government dialogue got a complete makeover. The process of changing content and overall look and feel of the website has been a work in progress for over two years. The change will affect all of Norway’s residents, logging in to report on their businesses, to make a change of address, or reporting their income to the government. The project, led by consultancy agency, Bouvet, and a team at Brønnøysundregistrene, has taken its form with the use of well integrated design accompanied by illustrations, created by Sandra Blikås.
The idea behind the illustrations was to emphasize on daily living, situations you naturally can place yourself. The illustrations play an important role in the re-design, not only for the visual aesthetics, but also to make the new site a space that feels more welcoming and familiar.
We’re so proud to be a part of a project on such a large scale, and proud of Sandra for all the idea work and long hours she’s put into the illustrations. Thanks to the team at Brønnøysundregistrene and Bouvet!
