New talents to byHands

We are proud to announce that we have three new artists joining our team in byHands. They are carefully picked out from a number of talented illustrators from all around Norway and represent some of the most unique skills this country has to offer. Sandra Blikås, Carl Fredric Angell and Anette Moi has been on our radar for some time now, and we are happy to finally join forces and welcome them on board our amazing team of illustrators.

The short story about the artists: Sandra Blikås, originally from Molde, graduated from the Norwegian School of Creative Subjects in Trondheim in 2011, majoring in both graphic design and illustration. Her expression, highly energetic and playful, is seen through her work of patterns and illustrations.

Carl Fredrik Angell (aka Frisso) specializes in hand lettering, type design and sign painting. In 2013, he went to Boston for a three month apprenticeship with Josh Luke and Meredith Kasabian of Best Dressed Signs to learn the craft of sign painting. He does everything by hand and designs new creative typography wherever letters are needed.

Anette Moi, is an illustrator/artist based in Stavanger, Norway. Anette has been drawing since she was little and has been working full time as a freelancer and artist since March 2013. Her style is full of humour, colour and wit.

We are also super excited about a new board member to byHands. Are Kleivan from Metric Design Studio, one of the most talented designers in Norway will be joining us, bringing good industry insight and experience to our board. Yay!
